On today's Global Exchange Podcast, we are rebroadcasting a March 2019 presentation by geopolitical strategist Peter Zeihan to an audience in Calgary. During the presentation, Peter talks about the future of the Canada-U.S. relationship under President Trump, as well as the broad series of disruptions throughout the world that are altering our contemporary geopolitical landscape.
Participant Biographies:
- Colin Robertson (host): A former Canadian diplomat, Colin Robertson is Vice President of the Canadian Global Affairs Institute.
- Peter Zeihan: a geopolitical strategist, combining an expert understanding of demography, economics, energy, politics, technology, and security to help people understand the world and to best prepare for an uncertain future. Over the course of his career, Peter has worked for the U.S. State Department, think tanks, and helped develop analytical models for Stratfor.
