SYNOPSIS
The Canadian Global Affairs Institute, Resource Works, and the Polish Institute of International Affairs are hosting an upcoming event in Vancouver on April 19th, featuring Polish President Andrzej Duda.
Russia's aggression towards Ukraine, including pseudo elections and attacks on infrastructure, signals a long-term conflict with the West for strategic dominance. Meanwhile, China sees an opportunity to alter the international order, alerting the transatlantic community to the threats against global stability and security.
The President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej DUDA will deliver a keynote speech on the importance of Transatlantic Security in the Shadow of Russia’s Long War.
Afterwards, panel discussions intend to tackle the issues of transatlantic perspectives on defense and energy security and the role Canada and partners like Poland can play in the process.
To ensure the safety and security of the event, we require all attendees to provide ID information when claiming their tickets. Please bring the same piece of ID with you for on-site registration on the day of the event. If you fail to bring your ID on the day of the event we may not be able to admit you.
