Jacquie is a senior clean-energy executive, communications strategist, and academic with longstanding experience across Canada's nuclear and electricity sectors. She served on the Executive Leadership Team at Ontario Power Generation (OPG), leading Corporate Relations and Communications during major enterprise transitions, nuclear environmental assessments and project development, large hydro construction, and the shutdown of OPG's coal fleet.
She advises Canadian and international clients, including utilities and nuclear-sector institutions, on communication and regulatory strategy, policy, knowledge management, and multi-stakeholder engagement. Jacquie also brings more than 12 years of post-secondary teaching and academic leadership experience in public relations and energy policy. She was founding executive director of the Brilliant Energy Institute at Ontario Tech University, where she is currently an adjunct professor.
An early-career journalist, Jacquie is recognized for translating complex technical, regulatory, and geopolitical issues into clear, actionable insight for senior leaders, boards and industry audiences.
She remains active in strategic communication and engagement activities to build partnerships and trusting relationships in Canada's uniquely complex cultural landscape.
In 2021, Jacquie received the Howard A. Smith Outstanding Contribution Award from the Canadian Nuclear Society for strengthening relationships between the nuclear industry, policymakers, and communities.
