Adriana Vega is an accomplished public affairs and business professional, specializing in government and stakeholder relations, policy advocacy, and strategic communications. She is currently the Vice President of Government Affairs at the Canadian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association. Adriana previously worked at Scotiabank where she held various roles including at the office of the Group Head of International Banking, the Government Affairs department and at Scotiabank Economics, working on various files and leading initiatives in Canada and internationally. With a diverse background encompassing the public, private, and non-profit sectors, Adriana also served as the Director of International Policy at the Canadian Chamber of Commerce. In this capacity, she spearheaded business advocacy efforts during crucial trade agreement negotiations, such as the Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement. Adriana previously held roles with the Government of Canada and at the UK-India Business Council.
Ms. Vega holds a Master’s degree in International Affairs by The Norman Paterson School of International Affairs (NPSIA) at Carleton University in Ottawa. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
