• Understand the Canada-United States relationship during a second Trump administration and how Canada can best advance our national interests;
• Promote Canada's role in global energy security and its impact on Canadian prosperity, including Canada's role in the Indo-Pacific; 
• Lead the conversation on Canadian defence by informing decision makers and the public on meeting our NATO defence spending commitments, overcoming our military personnel shortages, modernizing our services, reforming procurement, and integrating emerging technologies into the Canadian Armed Forces;
• Grow our engagement with key stakeholders in foreign policy, trade, defence, and energy in both Canada and allied nations.

In 2026, your contribution would help us: 

• Help navigate our relationship with the U.S. by offering insights on CUSMA renegotiations and defence relationships; 
• Support Canadian prosperity by promoting sound trade, energy security, and foreign affairs policy;
• Provide thought leadership on defence-related reforms, including meeting our new defence spending targets, building of the Defence Investment Agency, the implementation of the Defence Industrial Strategy, innovation-promoting measures, and the evolution of recruitment and retention measures;
• Establish extensive partnerships with Canadian and allied stakeholders and decision-makers.
