- Bill Crosbie served as Canadian Ambassador to Afghanistan, amongst other diplomatic assignments, and has been active in efforts to support the Afghan people.
- Glenn Davidson served as commander of Canada's Maritime Forces Atlantic, and as Canada's military representative to NATO. Following this he served as our ambassador to Syria before his assignment as our ambassador to Afghanistan.
- Denis Thompson served in Cyprus, Germany, Bosnia, Afghanistan, and Egypt including command of NATO’s Task Force Kandahar, Canada’s Special Operations Forces, and the Multinational Force & Observers in the Sinai before his retirement with the rank of Major General.
