In this new episode of Defence Deconstructed, David Perry speaks to RAdm Jean-Mathieu Rey, Commander of the French Forces in the Indo-Pacific, to talk about France’s presence in the Indo-Pacific region.
Participant Biography:
- Contre-amiral Jean-Mathieu Rey took command of the Pacific at Papeete zone in August 2020. His role is to oversee air and maritime patrols in the Pacific. He has previously held command positions aboard the patrol boat La Glorieuse, the Floréal-class frigate Nivôse, and the anti-air frigate Forbin.
