18 June 2026 | 11 am to 12:30 pm | Zoom | By Invitation Only

SYNOPSIS

Join us for a webinar featuring Dr. Olena Kryzhanivska (CGAI) and Dr. Bruno Oliveira Martins, will explore how unmanned systems are becoming a core component of defence capabilities in both the EU and Canada. The speakers will present a working draft of a policy paper examining practical avenues for transatlantic collaboration, including co-development, co-production, supply-chain integration, and the use of EU funding instruments and NATO DIANA. The analysis also identifies key regulatory, industrial, financial, and political challenges that may hinder closer engagement. It concludes with short-, medium-, and long-term recommendations aimed at strengthening a resilient EU–Canada ecosystem for the development and production of unmanned systems.

This webinar is organized in cooperation with the Delegation of the European Union to Canada.
