Synopsis
During the election campaign, the Liberal Party of Canada have proposed significant changes to Canada's defence procurement system, which is still working on the hundreds of projects approved with Strong, Secure, Engaged. These proposals could have profound effects on the implementation of Canada's defence program moving forward.
On November 20th, the Canadian Global Affairs Institute will host a one-day conference to discuss the procurement changes proposed by Canada's new government, provide an update on the implementation of defence projects, re-examine the ITB/VP policy, and examine ways of introducing greater agility into Canada’s procurement system.
This event is sponsored by Lockheed Martin, General Dynamics, and the Department of National Defence. Lanyard Sponsorship is offered by KPMG Canada.
