SYNOPSIS

The Canadian Global Affairs Institute invites you to join an upcoming event discussing the coordination of the multinational brigade in Latvia. The event will analyze Sweden's contribution to and the logistics of the brigade in regard to NATO deterrence efforts in Eastern Europe. Formation of the brigade was a response to Russian invasion and activity in the Ukraine, with NATO increasing military presence through personnel and equipment from Canada and other NATO membered countries. The first of these countries was Latvia in 2024, now listed as the Multinational Brigade Latvia or MNB-LVA. With an esteemed panel of Ambassadors, Ministers, Attachés, and Directors, join us (by invitation only) to discuss Sweden's role in this vital part of Europe.
